Hayworth House is a green renovation of a 1950s apartment building in West Hollywood and certified by Green Communities, a program sponsored by Enterprise Community Partners. The project contains 47 affordable residential units and one manager’s unit for adults age 55 and older.
An elevator at the rear was added allowing residents access to a laundry room with adjacent TV lounge, reading area and computer lab. An accessible raised‑bed community garden area is just outside the laundry room. All apartments have retained the original oak hardwood floors, which were completely refinished.
