Tilden Terrace, Culver City’s first affordable housing development for large families, involved new construction of a mixed‑use, urban infill development featuring 33 units of family housing and approximately 10,700 sf of ground‑floor commercial retail on a 32,279 sf site.
The building program includes 730 sf one‑bedroom units, nineteen 900 sf, two‑bedroom units and twelve 1130 sf, three‑bedroom units in a three‑level building over one level of subterranean parking. The building is designed and constructed in accordance with California Green Building Standards Code and using sustainable development practices by pursuing a LEED Silver (or higher) green building certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
